After graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Greg began work with the semiconductor division of Texas Instruments, Incorporated, an international leader in the development of RF, Analog and Digital Integrated Circuits. Texas Instruments, the pioneer in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) provided Greg with a tremendous opportunity to hone his business and technical skills in many aspects of semiconductor technology including the support of Analog, DSP and Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) business development. Greg concluded his career at Texas Instruments directing the design and implementation of advanced, complex, semiconductor devices as the Manager of the Networking and Telecommunications ASIC Design Center in Ottawa, Canada.
After a successful 17 year career at TI, Greg decided to transition to the start up world and was recruited by Engim Incorporated to open up and manage an RF ASIC design team in Ottawa, Canada supporting the development of advanced wireless communications systems. While managing the RF ASIC design activities, Greg ran operations for the Canadian division of Engim, Engim Canada, Inc and also assumed the responsibilities for business development in Asia Pacific. Greg's RF team successfully developed and deployed a number of 2.5GHz and 5GHz wideband transceivers and Greg was responsible for securing design wins at multiple ODMs in the Asia Pacific market.Greg moved to Edgewater in the fall of 2005 to run the RF, Analog and Digital component development. His background in wireless technology allowed him to expand Edgewater's strategic vision and to start up, and concurrently manage, an advanced, multi-channel wireless business within Edgewater. In 2006, Greg was asked to assume his current role as VP of Marketing while maintaining his position managing Edgewater's wireless development activities.
Greg is involved in all aspects of Edgewater's marketing and business development including its Military Avionics business, its Real-time software business, and continues to expand Edgewater's wireless technology to all regions of the world.
