Product Overview
The Edgewater EHS-PMC5601 circuit card assembly is designed to provide up to 100Mbps of additional physical rate throughput on existing data buses compliant to Mil-Standard 1553 Notice 4. The EHS-PMC5601 uses Edgewater’s innovative Extended 1553 (E1553®) interface technology to create a separate, parallel, non-intrusive network residing on the same media as the existing 1553 Notice 4 network without impacting the existing 1553B Notice 4 performance. The legacy pass-through feature enables re-use of the existing connector to the stub cable.
The EHS-PMC5601 application is scheduled independently from the legacy 1553 bus schedule using Edgewater E1553 SDK (Software Developers Kit).
